After the first registered car, which remained in Rimac’s hands, the first customer piece of the Nevera model was handed over. The former Formula 1 driver is happy about it.

We recently wrote about the first registered Rimac Nevera. However, the production car with the license plate ZG 2360 NM (referring to the car’s torque) is owned by the carmaker. Only now has the first customer copy been delivered. And who became the first ever owner of the Rimac Nevera electric hypersport? Former Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg.

While the first production Rimac Fridge, which was kept by the manufacturer himself, is referred to as #000, Rosberg’s piece is logically numbered #001. Rosberg chose an all-black design for the exterior and interior of the car, complemented by silver wheels and also silver elements inside. And since Rosberg is currently a Youtuber, he showed off the news on his channel.
Let’s just remind you that Rimac plans to build only 150 units of the Nevera model, and even with a price tag of around two million euros (49 million crowns), all examples are sold out. The manufacturer is now working on full production ramp-up to produce up to 50 Nevers per year. Mate Rimac, the founder of the company, plans to personally test and approve each piece before handing it over to the customer.
Nevera is powered by four electric motors with a combined output of 1,427 kW (1,940 hp) and a torque of 2,360 Nm. The energy is drawn from a 120kWh battery of Rimac’s own design, on one charge of which the Nevera can travel up to 547 kilometers according to the WLTP. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is a matter of less than two seconds, and although maximum speed is not a strong point of ordinary electric cars, the Nevera can reach a speed of up to 412 km/h.
