Many have made pilgrimages to places where the celebrity walrus Freya has been seen. Actress Ine Jansen got a surprise when she suddenly saw that she could get an extra guest on the boat trip.
With the text “Not to brag … but this is my boat! #freya”, Jansen posted a video on Instagram. There you can see Freya trying to jump into Jansen’s boat which is in the Oslo Fjord.
– A pleasant visit
– I was almost a bit starstruck, says Jansen to VG on Sunday evening, and says that this happened at the beginning of the week.
Freya har several times seen resting on boatsand has caused quite a stir in Oslo during the summer.
– She made a few attempts, then she swam on. She only stopped by for a short time, but it was a pleasant visit, says Jansen, laughing.
Not everyone has had equally pleasant experiences with Freya. On Friday, VG spoke to Kristina Dunnwho experienced the walrus up close and felt she was swimming for her life.
Previously have The urban environment agency in Oslo municipality warned against getting too close to the walrus, and recommends a distance of at least ten meters by boat, jet ski or similar. You should also not be too close to the 600 kilo walrus.
Freya’s itinerary has been followed closely throughout Norway in recent months. On Sunday evening, the walrus appeared at Vollen Marina in Asker. Therefore, Freya may now be heading south in the Oslofjord, writes NTB.
