A 58-year-old woman was found dead at the stadium in Sopot. This was announced at a press briefing by the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Petar Todorov, quoted by DarikNews.bg
A report was made to the police today, around 07:20 this morning. The woman was found by the security guard at the stadium.
There are marks of blows on the body.
The man with whom she lived on a family basis was detained as a suspect in the crime. He is 11 years younger than her.
It is likely a domestic dispute, but more details are yet to be clarified.
At the moment, procedural-investigative and search activities are underway.
Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Demerdzhiev stated that the genesis of this conflict will be investigated – whether there were any reports and complaints from the victim to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“We will approach this type of incident, which has become more frequent in recent years, in order to implement prevention. Unfortunately, we are currently following the events, we will try to get ahead of them,” said Demerdzhiev.
