The former energy minister Temenuzka Petkova revealed the vile games of the “Change” with the gas.
Bulgargaz had to choose alternative suppliers of liquefied natural gas immediately after the suspension of supply from Gazprom. The entire infrastructure is built within our management. They chose the mediators. They delegated their functions to them and it came to a crisis situation,” commented Petkova for bTV.
“They cut off supplies from Gazprom in order to buy Russian gas from intermediaries at a 30% higher price,” she was categorical.
“The interconnector with Greece was supposed to be built on December 31, 2021. “Daniel Laurer and ‘Continuing Change’ failed in implementation,” she stressed.
According to her, the governments of GERB prepared the project and started the construction, and the cabinet of “Proceeding the change” was supposed to complete it and put it into operation.
“Kiril Petkov went, took a picture next to a crane, with which he turned something – no one understood. That’s it,” added the former energy minister.
“From GERB, we have been warning about the problems in the energy sector for a long time, since the summer of 2021. Since then, we have also appealed to the regular government to find a solution and compensate the business. We are alarming that this government and “Bulgargaz” are suffering a failure in the security of gas supplies,” Petkova pointed out.
She explained that at the moment the state company has to reserve capacities in the Greek terminal in Revitusa so that tankers with liquefied gas for Bulgaria can be unloaded.
