A Bavarian district is celebrating its anniversary – that’s why the district administrator is making a crazy ice cream bet. Who wins? The citizens or the politician?
Coburg – 50 years of Coburg. The Upper Franconian district celebrates its 50th anniversary. For the anniversary there is a special district bet that was shared on Facebook.
District bet in Coburg: 2500 scoops of ice cream for children and teenagers
Accordingly, District Administrator Sebastian Straubel bets. “Bet that the county won’t manage to squeeze 50×50, i.e. 2500 scoops of ice cream?”
As can be seen from the Facebook post of August 1st, the district administrator comes to the 17 towns and communities “and gives the children and young people a scoop of ice cream there.” Those who have the family card or holiday pass even get another one ball to it.

Great, the bet is valid: “The district administrator says no. Let’s prove him wrong”
“Can we make 2500 scoops of ice cream? The governor says no. Let’s prove him wrong,” the district continues on Facebook. Because if the politician loses, he grills sausages for the holders of the volunteer card.
Huge calorie bomb: Biggest sundae in the world
The dates for the big ice cream dinner are between August 16th and 18th. Then it will be decided whether the people of Coburg will win their mix of city and children’s bets à la “Wetten, dass…?!”. (came)
