The owners of the garden, Liene and Artis, are not only happy with their garden, but now they have the inspiration to work in it themselves, because they had cherished the house for eight years, so now the transformations and improvements continue in their garden.
“Since the transformation, we have made the following additions, which were recommended to us by the stunning landscape architect Agnese from “darzstev.lv”, who transformed our garden during the program. We have laid geotextiles in all the beds and created a mulch cover, which makes the garden very easy to maintain on a daily basis. We have added lighting to the beds and the child has a place to play on the new pavement – a house with a slide,” says Liene.
Liene thanks the team of the program “What’s in the Garden” for what has been accomplished and the inspiration: “We are very grateful to everyone who got involved in the transformation of our garden! Many, many thanks to “Dārzs Tev” and SIA “Working Group” for the fantastic work done, as well as “Dārzs zem saules” and “Dreiliņu stādi” for the flowers that will delight us for many years to come, and of course a huge thank you to the TV3 program “What’s in the Garden” ” for creating our dream garden!”
The small Carnikava garden was a big challenge for the broadcast team because it was along with a backyard pond. The swans have also accepted the changes in the garden and are also staying in backyard ponds this summer.
