They are part of 25 people–three of whom have one-star rank–who are the objects of investigation for alleged violations of procedures in handling the crime of death. The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the Special Inspection Supervision (Wasriksus), or the Special Inspectorate team, had examined 10 witnesses for alleged violations of the procedure. As a result, Ferdi Sambo was suspected of having committed a crime at the crime scene at his official residence.
And, for the process of proving this allegation, Dedi explained that Ferdy Sambo and the others were immediately placed at the Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters on Saturday afternoon, August 6 2022. He refused to call Ferdy Sambo’s arrival to Brimob Headquarters an arrest yesterday afternoon.
The reason for bringing Ferdy Sambo to a special place at Mako Brimob was called Dedi so that the investigation would be independent, accountable and the process fast. According to him, it was following the order of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. “We are still focusing on the timsus. Because this thymus is proyustisia,” he said.
Dedi explained that two special teams were formed around the investigation into Brigadier J’s death at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s official residence. “This is still a process. We ask our colleagues to be patient first, so we must be able to distinguish. If the Irsus focus is on the issue of violating the code of ethics, the Timsus is the work of a scientific or scientific proof process,” he said.
