A jury ordered Alex Jones to pay $45.2 million on Friday for calling the elementary school shooting that killed 20 children and six adults a staged act by gun control advocates.
He will have to pay this amount to Scarlett Lewis and Neil Heslin, whose six-year-old son Jesse was among those killed in the shooting.
On Thursday, the court also ordered Jones to pay them $4.1 million in damages for emotional distress.
