Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) Muhammad Zainul Majdi officially appointed as the National Daily Chairperson of the Party’s DPP Perindo. The inauguration was carried out directly by the Chairperson of the Perindo Party, Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
The inauguration began with the reading of the Perindo Party DPP Decree No. 1800/Perindo DPP Decree/VIII/2022 concerning the Appointment of the National Daily Chair of the Perindo Party. The decree was read out by the Secretary General of the Perindo Party, Ahmad Rofiq.
The general chairman of the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo) DPP, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, explained the reasons for the appointment of the TGB. According to him, TGB has sufficient experience to become the National Daily Chairperson of Perindo’s DPP.

“He is a figure, scholar, nationalist, also very qualified in bureaucrats, 10 years as a governor and very qualified as a member of the Council, once in the DPR RI. So maybe his background has not been conveyed that he is 23 years old and has become a member of the DPR RI ,” said Hary Tanoe at the MNC Center, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday (6/8/2022).
“And to become a member of the DPR RI, it is through a struggle, not necessarily becoming a member of the DPR RI. If I’m not mistaken in 2024 when Indonesia has started to open up in the presidential election which is directly elected by the people. Then after that, he followed the Gubernatorial Election and became governor of 2008 until 2018. So in short, at the age of 32, a 36-year-old member of the DPR RI has become a governor,” he continued.
He said the TGB’s leadership was unquestionable. He mentions TGB understand the meaning of the party struggle Perindo.
“I listened to his speech earlier, I really understand the soul of our party, really understand, so I think starting today, I don’t think there is any doubt about his leadership. leadership. Meanwhile, Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) Muhammad Zainul Majdi expressed his gratitude for his appointment. He hopes to carry out the mandate given to him well.

TGB admitted that he personally chose and was interested in joining the Perindo Party. According to him, the choice of the name of the Indonesian Unity Party or Perindo is a form of party identity that wants to maintain national unity.
“I see Perindo has some uniqueness, there are fundamental things that make me interested in taking part and being wise through Perindo. First, I mentioned at a people’s convention some time ago with the General Chairperson at that time, the most interesting thing about Perindo was one of Among them is the name of our party, the Indonesian Unity Party, not just a name, but it shows the identity of this party, that our work is shown to protect Indonesia, to maintain Indonesian unity, because without unity, we lose our dignity as a nation, without unity and diversity. we will end up splitting,” he explained.
He also asked for support from all members of the Perindo Party. He said, with strong cooperation, the party’s progress could be achieved.
“My mandate is meaningless except with the support of the ladies and gentlemen. We join hands for the progress of our party. Hopefully, the trust, the people can be entrusted to all of us,” he said.
