Marta Cecchetto was one of the most popular Italian models of the 1990s and 2000s. For over ten years, however, she no longer treads the catwalks and has completely disappeared from the world of entertainment. What happened?
Do you remember Marta Cecchetto? The Italian model born in Foligno on 18 June 1978 has walked the largest catwalks in the world for almost twenty years. From Roberto Cavalli a Valentinoyes Trussardi a MaxMara: all the biggest high fashion houses have dressed the splendid forty-four year old Umbrian, who started working at a very young age. After participating in the Italian edition of The look of the YearIn fact, Cecchetto was noticed by a talent scout who immediately understood her potential. Shortly after her, the supermodel, known for her fiery red hair and big brown eyes, moved to the United States. There she immediately started working for the aforementioned designers. From the mid-1990s to the early 10s, the largest fashion and costume magazines such as Vogue e Modern Woman they have dedicated numerous covers to her.
Despite the hard work, in those years the supermodel graduated from the artistic-pedagogical high school and also enrolled at the University. At the beginning of the 2000s, Cecchetto then met her man in her life: the former Modenese footballer Luca Toni. In 2003 the two began a romantic relationship and in 2017 they got married. Not everyone knows, however, that the two have had some really terrible moments.
The terrible mourning and the new life of Marta Cecchetto
At the end of 2011, the beautiful Umbrian model discovered she was expecting a child from her boyfriend. Unfortunately, nine months later, on June 1st 2012, the baby was born dead. A terrible mourning that has forever marked the life of the footballer and the supermodel. The two, however, faced the grief and managed to overcome the sad episode, even if their firstborn will always remain in their hearts. In 2013 they gave birth to little Bianca Toni, and a year later it was Lorenzo’s turn. Both are doing great and are their parents’ greatest joy.
Marta Cecchetto has decided to devote herself totally to them, and for this reason she has abandoned the big catwalks and the world of fashion in general. Now, as Political24.it reports, she is a full-time mother and happy with this choice.
