What should digital education look like in the future? What does it take to convey media competence to society? These questions should be asked at the “MeSH up! 2022″ on August 19 in Kiel. Registrations for the Barcamp are now possible.

Like. Digital education is playing an increasingly important role. More and more young people get their information mainly via Snapchat, Instagram or Tiktok. And the number of adults who use social networks as a source is also increasing. With new technologies such as virtual reality, completely new teaching and learning experiences are being created. But the safe handling of the new digital media has to be learned. Therefore, the demand for media education and media competence is increasing.

At the bar camp “MeSH Up! 2022” will examine the opportunities and challenges of digital media and explore the question of what the future of the media landscape could look like in 2030. The aim is to address educators, teachers, politicians, professors, parents, but also children and young people.
