Beethoven is good for the heart and blood vessels! That is in short the outcome of a new study by American scientists published in a medical paper trade magazine.
The research shows that classical music, in this case Beethoven, has a positive influence on the cardiovascular system, blood pressure, and also on the mood. Simply put, the music influences the nervous system, among other things, which then prompts the body to relax. In addition, music also influences the release of dopamine, which in turn can provide a positive mood. Almost all subjects believed that music can reduce stress.
And this is where Beethoven comes into play again, because for their studies the researchers mainly focused on two works by the composer: his Mondscheinsonata and the Fifth Symphony.
