The arsenic treatment plant inaugurated

The municipality of Corbès has problems with arsenic in the water distribution network because it sometimes exceeds the threshold imposed for the safety and health of consumers.

This Friday, Christophe Rivenc, the president of Alès Agglo, accompanied by Monique Crespon-Lherisson, mayor of the town, municipal councilors and representatives of the companies who participated in this achievement, inaugurated the water filtration system. which is located near the pumping station.

This major project, led by Alès Aggl’eau, Reaal and Agglo, was completed on time. Monsieur Roustan, slightly ill, apologized for his absence.

From now on, the municipality will no longer encounter any difficulties with arsenic since, from the first check, the ARS, which manages the quality of the water, authorizes the consumption of the water distributed by the network.
