Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – WhatsApp is known to use end-to-end encryptionwhich makes the company unable to peek at the contents chat users. However, the Meta subsidiary can still block users who commit violations by posting prohibited content on the platform.
There are two content that is prohibited by WhatsApp from being distributed through the messaging platform. Namely, from content related to copyright to containing racist or abusive vocabulary.
In copyrighted content, users cannot submit movies or songs in the format of file to other users, says WhatsApp policy.

If WhatsApp detects a user submitting such content, the user’s account will be closed or blocked. Account closure is temporary to permanent. Therefore, users are prohibited from using insults when chat with someone else.
In addition, users can also report other people’s accounts if they do the ban. That way WhatsApp can detect violations by users such as racially offending, sending prohibited content, to using unpleasant images.
As a note, the closing of the WhatsApp account cannot be canceled. So your account will be closed forever if it is detected to commit the violation.
If your account is closed, the only recourse is to change your mobile number so that you can use WhatsApp again in the future.
