Open your voice, this is the confession of a patient called monkey pox on a train

Jakarta

Some time ago, a doctor named Arturo M Henriques suddenly went viral after finding monkeypox or monkeypox patients hanging around on the train. He said the man he met had a rash from head to toe, including on his hands.

Henriques said he cautiously asked the patient why he was still traveling with his severe condition.

“The man said he doesn’t need to stay at home, only has to wear a mask,” Henriques wrote on Twitter.

However, recently the man whose photo went viral and was called a monkeypox patient spoke up. The man with many rashes on his body also emphatically denies that he and Henriques did not have the conversation as alleged.

The unidentified man also revealed that he did not actually have the monkeypox virus. In a conversation with local media, he admitted to suffering from a neurofibromatosis condition.

“I didn’t have monkeypox and I didn’t speak to him (Dr Henriques) at the time,” the man said. The SunThursday (4/8/2022).

Quoted from Mayo ClinicNeurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form in nerve tissue. These tumors develop anywhere in the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.

One of the symptoms of neurofibromatosis is the appearance of light brown flat spots on the skin. These spots are common in many people, are harmless and are not contagious.

The spots in question look similar to monkeypox rash. This is what may make people misunderstand and refer to him as a patient with monkeypox.
