David Leitch directed the rather cool “Deadpool 2” and the “Fast & Furious” film from 2019. Now he is back with a thoroughly ironic version of “Murder on the Orient Express”.
Leitch, who must have been around twenty years old when Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” came out, was obviously brought up on high-octane and consequential glee-violence. He is in love with small-minded snippets of meaningless but tentatively funny dialogues, comments and characters with funny hang-ups.
