A photo of the actresses Mavie Hörbiger and Verena Altenberger caused discussions on the net after the Salzburg Festival. The reason: Hörbiger wore no bra under her black T-shirt and her nipples were slightly visible. This was hotly debated on social media. “Can’t you afford a bra?” one user commented. And further: “It must have been cold” or: “Was the photographer smart?”
Hörbiger countered her haters: “If you see my nipples through the shirt, it’s because I’m human and have some, you don’t have to point them out to me, I know my body,” she wrote on Twitter. Altenberger also got involved and defended her colleague. “Breaking! Women have nipples,” she tweeted.
But now the two actresses went a step further – and collectively deleted their Twitter accounts.
