Nostalgiamys for a new Twitter account honoring in-game stores

Video Game Stores is a new Twitter account that isn’t about (dying) IRL game stores, but about actual stores, cafes, and the like in the game worlds. It turns out there is quite a bit to choose from.

The tailor in Assassin’s Creed IIAmmu-Nation i GTA: Vice CityPauli’s Diner i Batman: Arkham KnightDimwit & Duke Ice Cream Shoppe from Bioshock InfiniteOh Deer Diner from Alan Wakethe bar from Stray and… well, the list goes on and on. And this account will grow.

There are some goodies underneath. One thing I spontaneously miss is Recettear: An Item Shop’s Talewhich got highest rating on FZ many years ago. “Capitalism, I have!”is a line that never gets old.
