Order and botargas, in vaccination of minors

Jesús, a little boy who turned eight last month, is brave and says he is “flattered” to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in Mexico City.

Like many others, the minor prepared himself from Sunday night to receive “the picket” and “fulfill his part of the responsibility,” in the words of his mother, who accompanied him on Monday morning to a module located in the mayor Gustavo A. Madero.

“Since last night we have prepared him, to arrive early and I can go to work, he was very eager, he was urgent,” the little boy’s mother told La Razón.

Since early yesterday, rows of minors were observed in the company of their parents or guardians, outside the vaccination modules, without any mishap or saturated module being recorded.

The attitude of most of the little ones was one of courage and serenity. Perhaps a little nervous in some, but no crying.

In the GAM, lines of between 15 and 20 minors were seen with half of their small faces covered by face masks, waiting, without generating riots, as has been seen with other age groups.

Jessica Alva, mother of a little girl, went to one of the 55 modules installed throughout the capital, with the “joy” of knowing that her daughter “finally” will have a vaccine, after waiting more than two years.

“My dad passed away from Covid-19, he already has two years of that, imagine! We went through a lot in these years. Almost all of us in my family get infected, we are all women, my sisters, my mother… I am the oldest, the only man left us, “said the lady.

Now, that the little girl receives the Pfizer dose is a “relief” for the whole family, including the girl, who stated that the care was quick and the injection did not cause her any pain.

In many modules there were riots of vegetables and fruits to encourage the little ones to receive the biological, without fear.

From the T-III Minas de Cristo Health Center, located in the Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office, the Secretary of Health of Mexico City, Oliva López Arellano, recalled that throughout this week it is planned to immunize some 90,000 children from eight years.

The official affirmed that the infections of Covid-19 are not increasing in the capital, on the contrary, she pointed out that “they are stabilized” and detailed that there have been two weeks with cases on the decline.

“Not as fast as we would like, but consistently, infections are already in a declining phase,” he pointed out, during the supervision of the start of vaccination of minors.

The application of vaccines for this age group will be carried out in 55 health centers in Mexico City until this Friday, August 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., according to the surname.
