The Russian billionaire and former owner of the English football giant Chelsea Roman Abramovich once again found himself at the center of the events surrounding the war in Ukraine.
Having previously been sent to help in peace negotiations between the two countries, and then spreading a rumor that he was the victim of an attempt to poison him, it now appears that the businessman has been seriously aiding Russia in military operations.
Abramovich is under investigation by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) after documents emerged proving that the Evraz group of companies owned by the oligarch supplied steel and explosives to the Russian military.

The cooperation has lasted for more than 10 years and has not been interrupted at the moment, when it comes to orders for millions of dollars.
The company denied the allegations, stressing that its products are intended for infrastructure and construction projects, entirely for civilian use.
We recall that in January the Russian government banned the publication of any public procurement contracts related to national security and defense.
Abramovich was among the Russian billionaires affected by the sanctions of the Western governments, his accounts were blocked, his assets were seized, and this was the big reason why the billionaire sold Chelsea football.
