Rio Grande Mascotera: 1,200 pets received the rabies vaccine

The numbers correspond to the sum of the four anti-rabies vaccination days that the Municipality of Río Grande, as part of its Comprehensive Plan for Responsible Ownership, carried out. The last day was held on Friday, July 29, at the Municipal Community Center on Hoiken Street at 511.

BIG RIVER.- The Municipality of Río Grande, through the Directorate of Veterinary Services, carried out last Friday in Margen Sur, a new “anti-rabies” vaccination day for the city’s pets. This is preventive vaccination for the care and protection of animals.

On this new day, 132 dogs and 68 cats were vaccinated, so that to date 1,200 pets have been protected with these doses.

The Municipality strengthens Río Grande as a pet-friendly and responsible city, both with animals and with the environment, thus improving the quality of life for everyone and caring, through different policies, for the health of the population.
