Bordeaux have unveiled their new jerseys for the 2022-2023 season. The outfits were made by adidas.
It is better late than never. On Saturday, the leaders of the Girondins de Bordeaux waited until the last moment to unveil the club’s new jerseys for the 2022-2023 season. The Bordelais thus inaugurated their new home tunic for the reception of Valenciennes during the first day of Ligue 2 (0-0).
Unlike last season, it features the old Girondins logo, much to the delight of supporters. For now, the Bordeaux home jersey does not feature any sponsors, which does not deconstruct the graphic design of the kit. Usually present under the scapular, the main sponsor overloads the tunic. Burgundy in the spotlight on the away shirt
Last season, the Girondins de Bordeaux unveiled a collector’s outfit to celebrate their 140th anniversary. This jersey notably alluded to the year 1996, when the club climbed to the final of the UEFA Cup. A beautiful creation by adidas which unfortunately will not go down in history because of the sporting performance of the club, relegated to Ligue 2.
A year later, the club presented an away shirt which uses the same colors. Equipped with a scapular, it does not display a sponsor. Sober and efficient, for now.
