The thirtieth edition of ChartrEstivales is in full swing. After having brightened up the evenings of July in the Chartrains, with variety groups or shows for children, the entertainment continues in August.
Here is the program :
Monday 1is august
We start the month of August with theater, this Monday evening. Spectators at Place Billard will have the pleasure of discovering the play Love me if you can, written by Julien Sigalas and performed by Matthieu Kalka and Manon Guilluy. For lovers of laughter, this romantic comedy evokes the vagaries of sentimental life between two neighbours.
Tuesday August 2
Mary Lou.
The group of folk rock songs, Mary-Lou will perform on the Place des Halles. Composed of four musicians, this French-speaking group has been crisscrossing France since 1996. Building on its success, this quartet released its ninth album Until tomorrow, in 2021. Their music also borrows from jazz and blues.
Wednesday August 3
A change of register, the Place des Halles welcomes Bric à Drac, a Celtic music troupe. This cheerful band offers shows for children with Celtic songs. Founded in 2003, Bric à Drac began in folk balls in the Midi-Pyrénées, now Occitanie. The main objective of the group is to promote old and rare instruments. The musicians share this knowledge with the public. The quintet will give a performance for young and old.
