Due to a malfunction in the Train Traffic Control System in Rotterdam, no train traffic is possible in a large part of the west of the country.
There are no trains to and from Rotterdam and Dordrecht, says a spokesperson for NS. Also trains on the high-speed line between Amsterdam Central and Breda are not running. International trains will continue to run.
“It seems that a server in the traffic control systems is not functioning properly,” says a spokeswoman for ProRail. “The signals also jump to red for safety reasons, so that driving is not allowed.”
