Côte d’Ivoire-AIP/ Future University Hospital of Abobo: Local authorities grateful to President Alassane Ouattara

Anyama, Jul 31, 2022 (AIP) – The municipal and customary authorities of Abobo have expressed their gratitude to the President, Alassane Ouattara, for the launch of construction work on the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Abobo, including the laying of the first pierre, by the Prime Minister, Achi Patrick, took place on Saturday July 30, 2022, Anador district.

The Chief of the village of Abobo-Té, Prof Djako Arsène, welcomed a social work of health, which will come, according to him, to arrange all the population.

The mayor of Abobo, Kandia Camara expressed his gratitude to the “contractor of this great project and the guardian angel of Abobo”, who is President Alassane Ouattara. She added that the “Aboblais” will always remember her and will show her their gratitude for eternity in all circumstances.

“To this tribute, I would like to associate the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Pierre Dimba, his collaborators and the project implementation team as well as those who preceded him at the head of this ministry since the conception of this project,” she said.

The CHU of Abobo will be a highly specialized hospital, oriented towards advanced nephrology, pediatrics and neonatology.

It will have six poles, namely, a Mother-Child pole, a head and neck pole, an osteo-articular pole, an abdomen pole, a medicine pole and an infectious pole for a target population of six million.
