Météo-France warns of the risk of a “very high danger of fires” in the Mediterranean area on Sunday, because of the winds and high temperatures which will rise everywhere in France, going up to 37° in the south-east.
In its bulletin, Météo-France warns of a risk of “very high danger of fires in the Mediterranean zone (Occitanie, Provence and Corsica)”, linked to the wind regime (mistral and tramontane) “fairly strong” and to “conditions remaining very hot and dry on an increasingly sensitive vegetation”.
In Draguignan, in the Var, volunteers roam the forests to warn vacationers and provide fire prevention. Report in the JT of France 2 (see video above).
