Forget the tents where you suffocate from the first rays of the sun, the common sanitary facilities and all the clichés that inhabit the collective unconscious. In 2022, camping in the Moselle is no longer what it used to be: it has moved upmarket, equipped with bungalows with TV, dishwasher and sometimes parental suite and two bathrooms! It’s high class in the shade of majestic trees and also a stone’s throw from a gigantic indoor swimming pool, a giant slide plunging into an outdoor pool and bouncy castles for children.
As in a holiday club, a multitude of activities punctuate the day. The cocktail bar has just been added to the list of amenities. Welcome to La Mirabelle campsite, in Volstroff, which has been flying the Capfun flag since 2017 and has had 5 stars since last spring. It is one of the finest establishments in the Grand Est.
