The biggest change took place behind the scenes, on 1 July this year, when Joery Boutens (26) officially took over the beer spatula from his parents, Hetty and Andy. Since 1989 they have run the drinking and dining room on Hessenweg, which has grown over the years from a simple village pub with a strong social function into a warm-blooded eating and drinking place with a terrace with eighty chairs. There are more than thirty employees, three of whom are permanent employees.
