Three people were injured

A head-on collision between two cars in the “Zheleznitsa” tunnel closed the E-79 in the section between Blagoevgrad-Simitli. Three people were injured and taken to hospital, BGNES reported.

The driver of one car – 68 years old – has a chest injury. A 52-year-old woman and another 62-year-old man were slightly injured.

A traffic jam has formed in the area. Cars are diverted along the Dolno Tserovo-Zheleznitsa-Simitli road. The freighters are waiting on site.
