At least 25 people died in the “worst” floods in the history of Kentucky and the balance sheet could still double, the rains having not stopped falling on Friday on this rural state in the center of the United States. President Joe Biden declared a state of “natural disaster” and released federal reinforcements to support areas affected by “storm, flooding, landslides and mudslides”.
