A man was arrested in Southeast this evening who is suspected of possible involvement in a violent incident. Blood was found in a porch, but no victim.

After several people called the police that something was going on in Vianenstraat, officers arrived on the scene. They found nothing there, but after some searching they saw a pool of blood in a porch a little further on. The man who was in the house near that porch was arrested a short time later.
It is therefore still completely unclear what exactly happened. A knife would have been used, but whether that is really the case remains to be seen. For the investigation, the police helicopter also circled over the neighborhood for about 20 minutes. The police will call some hospitals to see if a victim of violence has come forward.
