Daughter of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, Mutiara Annisa Baswedan or Tia, is officially married to Ali Saleh Alhuraiby. Anies asked for prayers for the bride and groom to become a sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah family in building a household.
“Please pray for them so that later they can become a sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah family and we hope that this will be a good start,” said Anies Baswedan after the wedding reception at Putri Duyung Resort, North Jakarta, Friday (29/7/2022) night.
Anies said the wedding procession on the first day went smoothly. Anies then thanked all the invited guests who attended tonight’s event.

“Thank you, thank God, tonight we have just finished our son’s wedding reception. This morning the marriage ceremony was carried out, thank God, it went smoothly and tonight we have a reception and are grateful that it went well, thank you for your prayers, for your blessing and everything, ” he said.
The former education minister views the moment of marriage as a new chapter in the life of his baby. Anies then entrusted his eldest daughter to Ali.
“Now I add 1 child. Yesterday 4 is now 5, Alhamdulilah. Tia our daughter previously finished studying at the UI Faculty of Law. Meanwhile, Ali is a doctor who just finished last March. Hopefully this will be a new chapter. At the same time, we introduce this new couple in our family,” he concluded.
Mutiara Baswedan’s wedding party was also attended by President Jokowi and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin. Jokowi’s ministers were also present at this reception.
Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo were present.
The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla were also present. In addition, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman, Chairman of the MPR Bambang Soesatyo, Chairman of the Nasdem Party Surya Paloh, Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and Chairman of the Perindo Party Hary Tanoe.
As is known, Mutiara Annisa Baswedan’s wedding procession with Ali Saleh Alhuraiby will be held for three days. The wedding ceremony procession will be held today, while the reception will be held tonight until Sunday (31/7).
