After a raging penalty drama, Sweden is ready to play the semi-finals of the world championships in FIFA 22 – FIFAe Nations Cup – in Copenhagen tomorrow Saturday.

Argentina was, as expected, a tough nut to crack, the team that in advance was one of those who received the most votes to take home the title. Oliver “Oliboli” Uttgren & Mattias “OpTolle” Tolinsson gained continued confidence after playing together in the round of 16.
After two goalless games and extra time, penalties were required to separate the two nations.
Sweden started by missing the first penalty and ended up under a lot of pressure during the rest of the regular penalties. The turnaround came only in the fifth round, when we managed to stop Argentina’s potentially decisive penalty. In the first sudden-death round, both nations missed again, but then Sweden scored a not particularly well-struck penalty and all the pressure was on Argentina. They couldn’t handle it, the last penalty was chipped and saved ridiculously easily by Sweden – and the victory was a fact!
Now games in front of large crowds await on Saturday, where first the semi-final (at 14:20) against Poland awaits, and then a potential final against the winner of Italy and Brazil at 17:00.
As before, the Swedish matches will be shown via Svensk Fotbolls YouTube and Twitchwhere Johan “Jewanderz” Jewander comments.
