After 2 superb seasons in Ligue 1, RC Lens was destined to lose all its executives this summer. However, if Doucouré, Kalimuendo and Clauss have gone, a large part of the workforce will still be present under the orders of Franck Haise who has extended his lease with the Artésiens. They are also having an excellent transfer window and 2 of their recruits are already under the spell of the club and its supporters.
Brice Samba and Jimmy Cabot in love with their new garden!
RC Lens did not manage to hang on to Europe last season despite 5 wins and 3 draws in the last 8 league games, but management still manages to make a very interesting transfer window! Open a Pants came to reinforce the attack, Abdul Samed comes to replace Doucouré in midfield, Brice Samba settles in the cages and Jimmy Cabot will try to make Clauss forget on the right flank. If the Polish striker is still injured, the others could take part clash against Inter Milan on July 23 in a full Bollaert stadium! It was Lois Openda who delivered the supporters with a goal in the last seconds, well served by Cabot from a corner. Lensois supporters will be able to admire the new recruits one last time against West Ham this Saturday July 30 before seeing them in action from August 7 in Ligue 1, again at home against Stade Brestois.

After the victory against the Serie A vice-champion, many players posted a picture of joy on social networks. Among them are Brice Samba and Jimmy Cabot who seem to love the atmosphere of the stadium. These two players have already played for Bollaert when they played for Caen and Angers, but this match was synonymous with a first in the Sang&Or jersey. These declarations of love should delight the supporters who will be numerous against West Ham, but also throughout the season because the club recorded more than 30,000 subscriptions for this important season!
