6. Bike already coded? Action at the marketplace – Seligenstadt

(aa) The Seligenstadt police station is carrying out a coding campaign for bicycles and bicycle trailers on Sunday (July 31). The action takes place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the market square in front of the town hall. Police commissioner Nico Cavallo and his colleagues at the Seligenstadt police station are looking forward to numerous consultations on the subject of bicycles. They also have some information material with them and advise on the right anti-theft device. In the event of theft, the code can be used to identify the rightful owner of the bike. The visible coding with stickers can also prevent theft, since such a bicycle is practically unusable as stolen goods. Interested cyclists should bring their bicycle documents, ID card and proof of ownership with them. With e-bikes and pedelecs, it is important to have the keys for the battery with you. Children and young people under the age of 16 please remember to bring a power of attorney from their parents or legal guardians. The required form including the data protection declaration can be filled out on site or received in advance at the office. The ADFC will also have an information stand in front of the town hall.
