There are still problems on the east-west axis of the Breisgau S-Bahn. This was emphasized from many sides at the meeting of the Freiburg regional transport association (ZRF). Although the eight-point emergency program announced in February made some things better, the situation is not satisfactory. Therefore, the region wants to wait with a signature that should formally confirm the fundamental expansion of the Breisgau S-Bahn in the coming years. The current problems must be solved first.
What is already going better?
A main criticism of the past was the omission of stops at the university hospital in Freiburg and at the train station in Eichstetten.
