—A delegation from the Iraqi Football Federation/Karbala branch visited Al-KafeelSuper Specialty Hospital to discuss ways of cooperation between the federation and the hospital regarding the treatment of athletes.
About this visit, the Director of Al-Kafeel Hospital, Dr. Jassim Al-Brahimi, explained that “the hospital has programs to support the youth segment and overcome all obstacles to Iraqi athletes, and has great experience in the treatment of sports injuries, as well as the possibility of providing medical service to many athletes from different governorates and returning them to the fields”.
For his part, the head of the invited delegation, President of the Karbala Football Federation, Abdul Razak Akram al-Shallah, said: “We have been informed about the services provided by the hospital, and there will be cooperation to conduct operations for injured Iraqi athletes who need surgery.”

“There will be a special consultation and a day to examine athletes who suffer from injuries or illnesses, and the hospital administration has confirmed its support for the segment of athletes who need help,” Al-said Shallah.
During its visit, the delegation stressed that “Al-Kafeel Hospital is a national institution that has a great desire to provide special care to citizens, reducing their cost and time with work that rivals what exists outside Iraq, and we are proud of this institution, which we consider distinctive at the level of Iraq, and we will work with other federations and sports to organize field visits to see the departments of the hospital”.
