With placards “No to the EU”, “1941=Berlin, 2022=Brussels” and a banner with the inscription “No to Bulgarian contracts/blackmail”, a group of protesters gathered in front of the Bulgarian embassy in Skopje this evening.

–With an increased police presence, chanting “Bulgarian fascists” and “Macedonia”, some of them painted the star of Vergina with yellow paint on the asphalt in front of the embassy, draped with flags with the same symbol, reports BTA.
“Here we are people who are against entry (of the Republic of North Macedonia) into the EU, we don’t need Europe in any way,” said some of them, welcoming the words of the only speaker that “Bulgaria is the most Nazi country in EU, and the history of a people is not a political issue”.
The protest ended with calls to gather again next Thursday for a protest at the same place.
