Influencer Gena Tew has been linked to artists such as Chief Keef, Chris Brown and Nick Cannon in the past. Recently, she has come back on everyone’s radar, having revealed she has had AIDS for about a decade. She has not been tested in all that time and it was only when she was teetering on the brink of death that it was discovered in the hospital that she was infected.
Since the diagnosis, she has shared her battle with the disease on TikTok, where she now has more than 400,000 followers. The videos show how at one point she weighed just 30kg and was unable to walk. She also says she has become blind in one eye. She says she doesn’t know how she got it, but according to her timeline, it should have happened while she was homeless in New York. She would then have been abused, but also received free tattoos.
