“Gas supplies can be resumed at any time if the Bulgarian side pays for them according to a scheme that meets Gazprom’s requirements.” This was stated by the Russian ambassador to Bulgaria, Eleonora Mitrofanova, on the air of the TV channel “Russia-24”, reported BGNES.
“We expect pragmatism in Sofia to prevail on the gas issue, but so far there are no positive signals,” Mitrofanova said.
“Many experts are calling for pragmatism and a return to the contract with Gazprom, which is still valid until the end of this year. So, as soon as the Bulgarian side decides to pay according to the scheme demanded by Gazprom, supplies will be resumed.” , said the ambassador.
