There is no doubt that Chef Gordon Ramsay is a true professional, so his advice is worth following. The chef shares a very simple trick to cut onions easily!
You will need:
Process:
1. Peel the onion.
2. Cut the onion in half.
Important! Do not cut off the “root” or root part of the onion!

3. Take one half of an onion, place it on a cutting board.
4. Make cuts in the onion along its fiber (see picture). Make the cuts as close to the root as possible. The root is supposed to hold the onion slices together!

5. Then make two horizontal incisions in the onion. As before, make the cuts as close to the root as possible.

6. Now all that remains is to cut the onion as usual!
