Yannick Noah is popular as a tennis champion and singer in France but also as a traditional leader in Cameroon, where he hosted President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday July 26 to promote “dialogue” between Europeans and Africans.
After his interview with Cameroonian President Paul Biya, Emmanuel Macron went to Etoudi, the “Noah village” to meet the singer and former tennis player, Yannick Noah. It was the first meeting between the two men.

A first solemn visit during which Emmanuel Macron was notably taken to the Noah family vault where his grandfather and his father rest. The President then met young Cameroonians and French people testifying to the common work for relations in Paris and Yaoundé. And in the evening a concert had been planned.
