Now, fever is generally not anymore Covid-19 symptoms experienced in the morning. According to experts, you should be wary of having symptoms Covid-19 when feel fatigue when you wake up in the morning.
Researcher and founder of the Covid Zoe app, Professor Tim Spector, warns that morning fatigue despite a good night’s sleep, and sore throat, are signs of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Spector through his tweets on social media Twitter revealed an increase in Covid-19 cases in the UK. “The symptoms are pretty much the same except generally more tired and sore throat, so better assume it’s Covid!”

Previously, Zoe Covid’s study collected 20 Covid-19 symptoms the most reported last week by 17,500 people who were confirmed positive for Covid-19.
As reported by the Herald Scotland, as many as 58 percent of people reported a sore throat, followed by a headache (49 percent), then nasal congestion, dry cough and runny nose (40 percent in all).
Meanwhile, until July 14, 2022, there was an increase in Covid-19 cases in the UK from 3.5 million cases to 3.8 million cases, an increase of about 7 percent. Quoted from the Independent, this is the highest estimate of total cases since mid-April. But this number is still below the record 4.9 million cases recorded until the end of March.
“Hopefully this wave will end soon,” he said.
He also suggested to do a test if you find Covid-19 symptoms especially sore throat and fatigue. If it is not possible to test for Covid-19, Spector advises to continue to self-isolate.
“If you can’t get tested, assume you have the flu and stay away from other people until you feel better.”
