“The term ‘monster’ really applies here”: Eric Goens about his impressive documentary ‘The 42 children of the guru’ | TV

“People were abused, women were impregnated and the babies disappeared. But all that was covered with the mantle of love. To date, not a single victim has anything bad to say about Doulière”, says Goens at ‘VTM Nieuws’.

Doulière, half paralyzed by polio, first became a pastor in France. “Then he started to gather people around him: homeless, people who were literally and figuratively lost… But soon you see that that community grew into something it should never have been. He convinced women who were part of his community not only to conceive their firstborn, but also to give it up.”
