Passers-by helped stop a thiefwho had acted with accomplices, Friday, July 22 at Valenciennes (North). It is 9 p.m. when a 29-year-old man is approached by a group of four individuals, avenue de l’Industrie. They start talking to him, as if to distract him, when one of them tear off the gold chain which he wore around his neck.
Immobilized until the arrival of the police
Witnesses to the scene manage to find one of the four young people, who is held until the police arrive.
The 27-year-old was taken into custody.
