Driver suffers a heart attack on the highway: serious accident

The heart attack of a driver on Autobahn 1 near Bremen led to an accident with several injuries, some of them life-threatening. The 85-year-old driver died at the scene of the accident despite attempts by first responders to revive him, the police said on Monday. His 89-year-old passenger had to be freed from the car by the fire department. Like another 82-year-old passenger, she was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
