Monkeypox virus is usually common in remote areas of central and western Africa. However, some time ago the World Health Organization (WHO) said this disease had spread to non-endemic countries.

Not only the monkeypox virus, currently the world is also buzzing with the Hendra virus. Even claimed to be more deadly than Covid-19.
“Fatality rate or a higher death rate. If Covid-19 is at 3-4% level, Hendra virus is at 50% mortality rate,” said Airlangga University Epidemiologist Laura Navika Yamani, as quoted from Unair’s official website.
The Hendra virus was first discovered in 1994 in an area called Hendra, on the outskirts of Brisbane, Australia. The virus was discovered during outbreaks of respiratory and neurological diseases in horses and humans.

In February 2022 he said the risk of severe illness from Covid-19 had been reduced. However, another pandemic will surely emerge again.
Bill Gates revealed that the potential for a new pandemic would likely come from pathogens (viruses, bacteria, to fungi). In fact, it is different from the Corona virus family.

He added that the world should move faster in the future to develop and distribute vaccines. He asked the government to invest now.
“Next time, we have to try and make it, instead of two years we have to make it like six months,” Bill Gates said.
“The cost of preparing for the next pandemic is not so great. It’s not like climate change. If we are rational, yes, next time we will detect it earlier,” he concluded.
