After the Russian missile attack in Odessa on July 23, Turkey’s Defense Minister Hulusi Akar had a talk with Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov.
“The Russians told us that they had nothing to do with this attack and that they were studying this issue very carefully and in detail. The fact that such an incident occurred immediately after the conclusion of the grain export agreement raised our concern,” Akar said, Anadolu news agency reported.
As noted, Turkey will continue to fulfill its obligations under the agreement signed on July 22 in Istanbul.

Today, Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, confirmed that the missile attack had been launched by Russia.
