Two Palestinians killed in Israeli raid in West Bank

Mohamad Azizi was shot in the chest and Abdul Rahman Jamal Suleiman Sobh was shot in the head, the Palestinian ministry said.

“Exchanges of fire”

For its part, the Israeli army said it was carrying out an operation in the city of Nablus in the West Bank, territory occupied by the Jewish state since 1967, without immediately commenting on the victims reported by the Palestinian authorities. “Exchanges of fire took place between the armed suspects and the troops”, the army said in a statement.

Israeli operations in the West Bank almost every day

Since late March, Israeli security forces have been carrying out near-daily operations in the West Bank following a series of attacks by Palestinians and Israeli Arabs in Israel and the West Bank in which 19 people, mostly civilians, have lost their lives.
