NASA and ESA Reveal Ways of Sampling Mars Next Week All

KOMPAS.com – United States Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) has a new plan to share how to bring sample pieces Mars to earth in the near future.

Along with the plan, there will be a press conference regarding the return Mars sample on July 27th at 11:00 a.m. EDT.

The project aims to bring Mars samples collected by the Mars Perseverance rover to Earth in early 2033.

Samples from Mars will be examined for signs of ancient Martian life, including evolutionary information red planet this for thousands of years.

Furthermore, the public will be asked for comments regarding the environmental assessment for the mission last May which can be done independently online.

NASA will consider this during mission development and plans to release a draft environmental impact statement in 2022.

There is a mission design change Mars explorationthe most of which occurred in March, when the coalition decided to develop a second lander because it believed it could support the mission being carried out.

Cara Mars sampling starting with the first lander mission that will send the NASA-developed Mars climbing vehicle (MAV) to the surface of the red planet.

Meanwhile, the second lander carried a device made by ESA to take samples of Perseverance.

After fetch rover take cache of Perseverance collected in Mars’ Jezero Crater, the rover will place it in the MAV.

Then, the MAV will take the sample to the orbit of Mars to then be taken to the Earth orbiter.

The addition of a second lander to Mars has extended the duration of the mission, pushing the launch time by two years to 2028, and the return mission to Earth by another two years in 2031.

However, NASA officials believe this is the right choice.

The revised plan is consistent with the findings of the Mars Sample Return Independent Review Board (IRB), where the dual lander architecture could increase the likelihood of a successful mission to study life on ancient Mars.
